INSTRUCTIONS FOR USING THE MISCELLANEOUS BATCH NUMBERS

On the Civil Parish Batch Number Index Page select the County of your choice.
For this example I will use Donegal   C701222 (also applies to M numbers)

Method One

1.         Select the Batch Number in relation to the Parish you wish to check
            High Light the Batch Number – copy the Batch Number (Ctrl+c)
            Or
            Right Click mouse and click Copy

2.         Click on “Hugh Wallis Batch input page”    Above the database
            This takes you to “Specify your search criteria”
            Navigate to the bottom right corner of this page
            In the Box in the corner,  
            Paste the Batch Number in the clip board by (from step 1.)  (Ctrl+v)
            Or
            Place the cursor over Box and Right Click mouse and click Paste.
            Hit Enter
            You can also type the Batch Number into the box.

3.         This procedure will take you to the LDS International Genealogical Index Page
            with all the names associated with the Batch Number.
4.         To search for your data, either browse the data
            Or
            Call up the search engine, (Ctrl+F)
            In the search box enter the name or place your are looking for
            Click Enter.

Method Two

1.         Select the Batch Number in relation to the Parish you wish to search
            High Light the Batch Number – copy the Batch Number (Ctrl+c)
            Or
            Right Click mouse and click Copy
           
2.         Click on “Familysearch Batch Search”   
            This takes you to the LDS IGI search page.

3.         Find the Batch Number box, bottom left corner of page.
            Paste the Batch Number from step 1 into box
            (Ctrl+V)   Hit Enter, this will call up all entries for the Batch Number

4.         Alternate, Detailed entry
            In addition to the Batch Number entry, enter a Surname
            Example:  Adams
            This will call up 4 entries for Adams for this Batch Number

            For a more in-depth search enter a place,
            In the  Region enter British Isles
            In the Country enter Ireland
            In the County enter (example) Cavan
            This example calls up one Adam in Cavan

NOTE:  IMPORTANT

The data above is for the Miscellaneous Batch Numbers Only
